The tour starts with an explanation of the cheese-making process, afterwards you start making your own cheese. The process followed is exactly the way Quesos Vaca Negra makes cheese so your end result will be fantastic. You can add your own seasoning thus customizing the end result.
The tour includes making a 1-pound cheese wheel and cheese tasting. The cost is $60 per person or $80 per couple (couples make 1 cheese wheel).
Tours are Friday and Saturday with reservations required, call at least 1 week in advance.
Tours for groups are available on other days of the week.
