A visit to the Destilería Cruz in the Porto Caribe town of Jayua, Puerto Rico starts with a tour through an area where you will be able to observe the state of the art distillery equipment used to produce PitoRico. Guides will provide a thorough explanation of the process from fermentation to distillation followed by blending and finally bottling of the product.
After the tour which last about 20 minutes, you will be able to sample the different PitoRico flavors and take photos. All flavofs are made with fresh locally grown fruits, flavors include passion fruit, orange, tamarind, anis and coconut. The Distillery Store sells many unique items as well as the finished PitoRico product in 750 ml and 375 ml bottles. Reservations are not required.
