- This activity involves a 650-meter hike, with a 40-meter elevation gain and uneven terrain. There is a short elevated section, secure but potentially challenging for those with a fear of heights. An alternative path is available to bypass this section. The route takes 1 hour and 15 minutes. Public restrooms are available at Santa Lucía de Tirajana, La Caldera Restaurant, and in Arinaga. Snacks and local products can also be purchased in these locations. No restrooms are available at La Fortaleza or Barranco de Las Vacas. All activities are led by certified professional guides specialized in this route. Limited to 20 participants per group. Conditions vary from sunny to cold. Wear layered clothing. Activity may change due to weather or terrain conditions. Expect winding roads. Bring motion sickness tablets if needed. Recommended age is 5+. Guardians must accompany children under 18.
