From Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria: Dolphin Watching Cruise
2235 ReviewsDiscover the incredible world of dolphins and cetaceans off the southern coast of Gran Canaria!
The Río Camuy Cave Park located in Camuy a town that is part of the Porta Atlántico (North) Region of the island is one of more spectacular places to visit and things to do in Puerto Rico. Recently designated one of the best natural phenomena in Puerto Rico, Camuy River Cave Park is traversed by the Camuy River, the third longest subterranean river in the world. The cave system is also the most dramatic and extensive in the Western Hemisphere.
This subterranean treasure is located on 300 acres and is visited by more than 150,000 people annually with a capacity of 1,300 daily visitors. The rivers waters has over 45 million years carved out an impressive and strikingly beautiful system of caves that rivals the most important in the world.
The principal cave is Cueva Clara where you can appreciate the sheer beauty of subterranean vistas; high ceilings filled with crystalline stalactites, hundreds of stalagmites that look like toadstools on the ground and impressive rock formations and natural tapestries created by mother nature.
