Los 3 Cuernos
Los 3 Cuernos, translated as The Three Horns, is a lively restaurant/bar open until late. Located within the historic district of San Juan, it’s a casual venue and a popular local hangout. The low prices of both food and drink make it particularly appealing, with all specials priced at $5.99, beers priced from 75 cents, and shots for a dollar.
Whether its breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee or drinks, the venue is a popular spot at any time of the day. Please note that it’s not a restaurant for fine dining, but instead a place for a casual meal or for soaking up the local Puerto Rican culture. Sandwiches are available throughout the day, and the evening specials are of the Caribbean influence and vary from day-to-day. Caribbean-style meat and fish dishes often feature, and every special is served with rice, beans and salad.
Los 3 Cuernos has a local reputation for its ‘Chichaitos’ – anise infused white rum shots. These are cheap and come in a whole range of flavours, including choclate, coffee, fruit punch and banana split.
