The creators of The Espadrilles Experience, a must-do in Barcelona according to BuzzFeed, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and others, are now coming back with The Raffia Palm Workshop, in which you will sit one on one with our artisans and will customize a raffia palm bag with your own name, which you will keep afterwards as the most amazing souvenir. Not too difficult and super fun for kids and families. We will meet at our family-owned workshop, where you can see the finished products and the materials. The artisan will be with you at all time leading and providing the materials, explanations and tools. First, we will introduce you to the story of our workshops and the materials and different tools needed for the construction of different pieces. You will learn about this beautiful tradition, and you will choose the size of the bag, the colors for the words and the colors and shape for the handles. It will be fun, hands-on, personal, and you will have customized your own piece by the end of it. We always keep small groups of 4-6, so it will be a very personalized session. The perfect experience for families, groups and of course couples... a beautiful way to bond, share and do something local.
